@audohouse New York translates Scandinavian design sensibility into a distinctly New York setting. Recently opened in Tribeca within a landmarked building, the space is more than a traditional showroom. Functioning as a hybrid platform for cultural exchange, talks, exhibitions and gatherings bring people together, reflecting the belief of @audocph that design ultimately shapes the environments where we meet, linger and return. We’re so proud to have been part of this project, and should you be in town for New York Design Week, we hope you will go visit. Photography by @jonasbjerrepoulsen

Set within the coastal landscape of Odsherred, Shoreline Studio is conceived as a place for work, retreat, and immersion in nature. The atelier stands as a refined counterpart to an existing brick summerhouse, shaped by a careful dialogue between Danish building tradition and Japanese spatial sensibility. Thatch, timber, brick, and reclaimed beams ground the project in its local context, while layered thresholds, filtered daylight, and framed views create a close connection to meadow, dunes, pine, and shore. Rooted in the textures and tones of its surroundings, the studio softens the boundary between inside and outside, allowing architecture and landscape to exist in calm continuity. Integrated furnishings, shelving, and storage are conceived as part of the structure itself, reducing visual noise and allowing proportion, light, and materiality to remain the primary experience at Shoreline Studio. A louvered screen filters daylight and modulates privacy, while curtains introduce a softer counterpoint to the solidity of brick, timber, and thatch. Small objects and curated elements continue the same material language. Natural stone, hand-thrown ceramics, reclaimed timber, and carefully chosen surfaces echo the textures of the dunes, pines, and shoreline outside. Nothing feels added for its own sake. Each detail supports the atmosphere of the studio, where craftsmanship, material honesty, and sensory presence are allowed to unfold at a smaller scale. Photography by @karl_tranberg & @jonasbjerrepoulsen

Extending from the existing summerhouse to the new Shoreline Studio, the shared terrace plane binds the structures together while dissolving the boundary between inside and out. Warm, tactile flooring continues outward, creating a sense of material continuity, while timber posts and beams establish a measured rhythm across the open-air space. Rather than acting as a connector alone, the terrace becomes a place in itself. A space for pause, movement, and transition, where integrated seating, filtered light, and surrounding planting create a gradual passage between the built and the natural. Photography by @jonasbjerrepoulsen & @karl_tranberg

At Shoreline Studio, views are treated as part of the architecture. Openings are carefully positioned to frame the surrounding landscape, from the wind-shaped vegetation close to the house to glimpses of the pebble beach beyond. Each view becomes a point of orientation, drawing the eye outward and allowing the coastal setting to become part of the interior experience. Inspired in part by the Japanese notion of borrowed scenery, the architecture does not simply look toward nature, but lets it enter the space through proportion, light, and framing. The beach, dunes, and pines are held within the composition, shifting with weather, season, and time of day. Photography by @jonasbjerrepoulsen & @karl_tranberg

Shoreline Studio rests among meadow, dunes, wild roses, pine, and coastal grasses, drawing from the material language of the existing summerhouse while establishing its own distinct presence. Hardwood cladding will weather into a silvery tone over time, echoing the surrounding trees, while the thatched roof mirrors the muted hues of the landscape. Rather than appearing placed upon the site, the studio is designed to feel embedded within it. A small perennial and grass garden surrounds the new structure, while boulders are cut into the terrace deck to strengthen the sense of being held by nature. Photography by @jonasbjerrepoulsen & @karl_tranberg

Inside Shoreline Studio, the architecture is shaped to support immersion, focus, and retreat. The interior is conceived as a simple, legible volume where light, material, and view define the experience. A skylight draws daylight into the space, while framed openings connect the room to meadow, dunes, pine, and the nearby shoreline. Rather than turning inward, the studio remains in continuous dialogue with its surroundings. Warm timber, earthy brick, and the softened acoustics of thatch create an atmosphere of sensory calm. Secondary functions are discreetly integrated so the primary workspace can remain open and uncluttered, allowing daily life to unfold with clarity and ease. Photography by @karl_tranberg & @jonasbjerrepoulsen

Introducing Shoreline Studio In the windswept coastal landscape of Denmark, where meadow meets dune and pine bends in the coastal breeze, Shoreline Studio rests as a retreat for artistic immersion. Materially and compositionally, the atelier is conceived in close dialogue with its surroundings. Its palette and structural rhythm draw from the existing house and the textures of the coastal landscape, establishing continuity without imitation. Inside, the atelier unfolds as a simple, legible volume shaped by light and tactility. A skylight draws daylight into the space, allowing it to shift gently across the brick floor throughout the day. Warm timber, earthy brick, and the softened acoustics of thatch overhead foster an atmosphere of sensory calm. Secondary functions are discreetly integrated, ensuring that the primary workspace remains open and uncluttered, supporting sustained creative focus across seasons. Set within the open countryside of Suffolk, @pavilionhousesuffolk is conceived as a transparent structure where architecture and landscape remain closely connected. A light steel framework supports generous openings that frame the surrounding meadow and sky, allowing nature to become an integral part of the interior experience. Vertical cladding in local larch reinforces the connection to the existing buildings on the site, while dark metal detailing allows the warmth of the timber to remain the dominant expression. An existing annex was extended to create a studio and additional living spaces, with windows arranged in a rhythm that echoes the main house. Throughout the home, views remain unobstructed and spaces flow naturally from one function to another, ensuring that the landscape remains a constant presence. Photography by @jonasbjerrepoulsen

At this year’s @isaloniofficial , @liniedesign presents Woven Matter — our shared rug collection created in collaboration with @urdmollgundermann . Drawing on the rhythm of architecture and the tactility of craft, the collection brings together handwoven rugs that feel as calm as they are compelling. Rooted in an exploration of how woven surfaces can carry not only function, but also feeling, each piece considers how rhythm, structure, and tactility can form a quiet architecture underfoot. Crafted by Linie Design’s skilled artisans, the rugs are made from natural materials selected for their distinct character and sensorial qualities. — Salone del Mobile 2026 21–26 April Hall 14 – Stand D43

Opening today at @isaloniofficial 2026, The Grand Café for @audocph Conceived as more than an exhibition stand, the installation unfolds as an immersive architectural setting – reimagining the spirit of Italy’s historic salons through a sequence of interconnected spaces. From lounge to café to dining hall, each room forms part of a larger narrative shaped by rhythm, proportion and materiality, where design is experienced as part of a lived environment rather than in isolation. Designed in collaboration with Audo and Art Director @christianmandersen , the space draws on the language of Italian historicism and early modernism – balancing monumentality with intimacy to create an atmosphere that invites visitors to slow down, gather and connect. At its core, The Grand Café reflects a shared belief: that design is best understood in context – felt, lived with, and returned to. This is where we meet. — Salone del Mobile 2026 21–26 April Hall 9 – Stand G02 & F03 Rho Fiera Milano Photography by @jonasbjerrepoulsen
