@gabiimonney wearing Mrs.Chihuahu Lycra printed body suit, featuring ivory organza rose cape and peaked satin cap. All made and styled by me (Zoe)
We chose the graveyard not as a place of mourning, but as a stage for reimagining what a farewell can be. The garment began with a reflection on the fear of death, the fear of the unknown, of leaving everything behind, and the quiet sorrow that lingers in the heart.
But rather than being consumed by that fear, we wanted to transform it.
In this space of remembrance, we imagined our own goodbye, not as something dark or somber, but as a celebration. The graveyard becomes symbolic: not an end, but a canvas for love, memory, and expressive freedom. It‘s where sorrow dances with joy, and the absurd reminds us of that life, even in its final chapter, can be full of beauty.
