@shanjean and I have been talking about doing The Grand since we got hailed off of it in 2017. This time it was a perfect day with wispy clouds, amazing temps, yummy snacks, too little water, granite for days and making stupid videos of our adventure for the one and only @kpowick . We think we’re pretty funny. Scratch that, we’re funny.

A good reminder that seven years passes in a flash… back in Ecuador, this time coastal celebrating love and marriage and waves. Also, reminiscing about our Quito to Cuenca climbing/road-trip with one of my best friends @shanjean seven years ago. Live it up! Love it up! ❤️🎉

Photo 1: I took this photo of @shanjean in 2013, it was one of the first times I had shot climbing from a rope. SJ was just starting her residency (in ENT, long story) and also starting to really, REALLY catch the climbing bug. Fast forward to 2019 and my gal is now an Orthopedic surgeon, has climbed big walls all over the world, 5.14, speaks three languages, plays the violin fluently—blah, blah, blah :) And me, I’m still shooting, but only for the love. Now my attention is focused on growing our new company @grasshopper.industries all the while still trying to eek out some climbing and surfing trips along the way.
