A mural of Buddha the cat for Save A Gato. It was so cool being here and painting in this special place. Featured on this pink wall is Buddha, a sweet + grumpy cat rescued by Save a Gato, a volunteer cat rescue that cares for the cats of Old San Juan. It was so surreal having the Everyone is Welcome Here mural as the backdrop of last night’s @roccnyc Gala 🥹 Thank you to everyone who made it all possible, @eric_thompson@powermalu@candice.braun and the beautiful volunteers of rocc. This was a fundraiser in support of this organization who helps newly arrived migrants with legal services, housing, healthcare, hot meals, community and so much more. I am painting this for @roccnyc , a group of volunteers who provide vulnerable New Yorkers, including newly arrived immigrants, to the resources and opportunities they need with legal services, food, health insurance and much more.

My new found love for old school serif fonts, working on a level scaffold, and the hardware store kitty who helped me pick out my brushes. It was such a pleasure painting the lettering for this brand new pilates shop @core.press ! They are so sweet and cool and it was so exciting being part of the process as they are just about to open. New pigeon + pizza art alert! This is Jerry and Petunia, the happy pigeon couple, now available as candlestick holders made from clay. They started as a clay pigeon experiment and then I realized I had pink taper candles and voila ! They are here to make all your dinners at home romantic 🐦♥️♥️🐦 I I also have new clay dollar slice and square slice pizza ornaments. All just in time to be at the one year anniversary party this Saturday of my dear friend Natalie at @trazenyc ! The Jerry and Petunia candlestick holders + pizzas are now live on my website too. New Spring birdtastic boards 🦢🦢🦢 For anyone who might have thought my chalkboard days are over, they are not ! I still love making them. Instead of chalk, however, I have been using acrylic paint on these outdoor boards. They last a lot longer, the colors are brighter, and it is harder for punks on the street to wipe them off when they walk past : ) If anyone needs one for their shop, hit me up ! No idea is too crazy⚡️⚡️
Another No Kings march for the books ! What an incredible turnout for NYC. There were so many cool, thoughtful (and hilarious!) signs I encountered and I met so many kind and caring people along the way. NYC had a turnout of 350,000 people! Im so proud of NYC for such an incredible turnout. A special thanks to the peace pigeon for surviving the journey, all except for his olive branch that fell off within the first 5 blocks : ) Thanks to @nokings.usa and @handsoffnyc for bringing so many communities together 🤜🤛
