My 6.5” x 14” @rogersdrums PowerTone snare from @bigbangdistribution is re-headed, cleaned, dialed, and rtg for some new drum tuning/product reviews. I absolutely LOVE this snare drum. Tons of body, yet great sensitivity, and the distinctive pop/throat of an 8 lug snare. If it wasn’t for my 10 lug Dyna-Sonic this would be my fave wood snare on the planet. Especially for the price. A great workhorse snare for all styles of music. Tuning with these @remopercussion Quicktech Keys was a breeze. Of course I have got to give some love to the classic @rtomcorporation moon gels for the perfect amount of tone control, and these classic @cardinal_percussion lug locks which help keep this drum in tune under heavy hitting.
