Overcoming challenges, creating art while also having fun, and making memories that will last a lifetime.” - Some corn-fed director from Iowa Making a movie is one of the hardest things in life I think I’ve ever done, but doing it with people I love and getting the opportunity to share the final product that so many people put so much hard work into is one of the greatest experiences in life. I couldn’t have completed this journey without the love and support from so many amazing people. I’m beyond thankful for all the friendships that I have in my life, all of the new ones that I made during this project, and I’m so proud of this team that made this film come to life. To each and every person who worked on Gothic Slayers, to everybody who came out to our premier to support us, know that I am forever grateful for your contributions. A special thank you to my wife @_thatsbigal_ more than anybody you gave me the strength and courage to continue on even when I was exhausted and at my lowest. Three years ago I purchased two rolls of @kodak Aerochrome with the intention of waiting for the perfect moment to shoot through those rolls. Years later I would marry the woman of my dreams @_thatsbigal_ and we would take our honeymoon to New Zealand. In the most beautiful land I’ve ever seen with the most beautiful woman in the world I took my shots. I couldn’t be happier with the results coming from this unbelievably special film. Also I think I’m the first person to shoot Hobbiton on aerochrome that’s the closest I’ll get to leaving my mark on the Lord of the Rings universe.
