Don’t Look…See. A very personal project just premiered on @filmshortage YT channel. Here is the opening 30 seconds. You can find the full film in my link in bio. Please stay with me. There is a very important reason this project exists. October is Domestic Violence Awarness Month.
3 in 10 women and 1 in 10 men have experienced domestic abuse from a partner in the U.S. That’s an average of 24 people per minute!
Those numbers are insane, just imagine how many people you interact with every day. Imagine your workplace. Truth is none of us alone have the power to shrink those numbers. If you’re a victim, asking for help can feel impossible. If you’re a bystander, asking if someone needs help is not on top of your mind. The wall between you two can be sooooo thin!
If we just try a little harder to SEE each other and do a little better to check in on each other we might be able to break through that wall. Together.

Something cool happened last night. PIE won Best Acting Duo and was 1 of 3 Nominees for Best Mystery at the @independentshortsawards 🤯 Congrats to Colin Ward and my boy @landon_tavernier . It’s an honor to work alongside a close friend and can’t wait for the next one together 🧡
