Been working at a beach this past weekend in Redondo..It got me thinking of this fun content shoot I did with my friend and it just so happened to have been exactly three years ago today. Much like most of my lightroom catalogue, it remained unseen or never really publicly shared. These photos deserve to be seen because it not only shows how beautiful my friend is, but her outfit and the colors give an elegant and vintage feeling. As if they were shot with film in the 80s or something along that. At least that’s how i feel, It’s maybe missing some film grain to really sell that effect, i probably should’ve added that in but oh well. Hope you guys enjoy the photos. Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve posted here. This past year, my relationship with photography and social media went a bit sour. I hit a creative block, and it just became hard to enjoy what I was doing. It all got overwhelming for me that I ended up stepping away from it all. This year, I'm trying out new things to get that enjoyment back. First, I’ve launched an Etsy shop—Prime Lens Studio! A lot of my photography hasn’t been shared publicly because it didn’t align with what I’m known for, but I’m excited to finally put it out there .I’m offering digital prints of my work, with more options like canvas prints coming soon. If you want to support me and add some art to your space, check it out! Second, I’ve started a Twitch channel. I’ve always loved gaming and been told I’d be great at streaming, so I’m giving it a go! My Instagram will stay focused on photography, but I’ll be promoting my streams and sharing YouTube clips of my gaming. You’ll also find videos related to photography there. I was always frustrated with how my posts weren’t reaching my followers, so I’m launching a broadcast chat to share my content directly with those who want to see it. If you get an invite, feel free to accept—it’ll help me reach you better! Lastly, I’m working on pushing through my own self-doubt and share photos I’ve been too critical to post. Here’s another quick Ai project using Photoshop’s Generative Fill Tool. Two years ago, before moving to LA, I collaborated with my friend Cheyenne on a styled shoot and one of the first sets we did was this photo here. I used the wicker chair and imagined it being a type of throne in the middle of a forest, somewhat dark, moody, with atmospheric smoke all around Cheyenne. Unfortunately my photoshop skills weren’t the best so i never actually got to finish this set. Two years later and now Ai is straight up changing the game with digital editing. I ended up getting an image that not only was close to what i originally imagined it be, but actually so much more and better. Watch me save a photo i took years ago with Ai! First photo is the finished edit. Second photo is the original that was taken straight out of camera. Third photo is the initial edit I did years ago. As cool as these photos were, it just looked bland to me, like it was missing something. The colors didn’t sit right with me either, i took it during blue hour right after the sun went down and just could never fix the tones the way that i wanted. Fourth photo is the final edit with the help of Ai. I didn’t want to go too crazy with it because it didn’t need much to begin with. For me, all i really wanted was dramatic skies and something far off in the distance, hence the addition of the mountains. I was knee deep in water when i took this photo but i honestly would’ve liked having it close to the shoreline which is what i ended up adding to finish this photo. When you compare what i had from the beginning to what i ended up with, it’s honestly astounding to me. What’s even more amazing is that these are just the initial phases of it.
