Hello Surfrider family💙
We are devastated to have lost our beloved friend and core team lead, Kenneth Taylor, this past weekend. We wanted to share some photos of and words about Kenneth. He had been a part of Surfrider for three years, and for every second brought energizing creativity, unconditional kindness, and an unmatched love for the outdoors. He remains a foundational part of our community and foundation.
Kenneth could be seen wearing the same old pair of Vans (barely staying together), building impressive bonfires at beach cleanups, and filming and photographing his friends on adventures. He is also the very same person to bring over 40 bananas to a potluck!
We are feeling this loss deeply but finding joy in these memories and more. We are also struck with immense gratitude for the community we share.
Please join us in attending Kenneth’s memorial today (4/12) from 4:30-6:30 at the Forum on campus to celebrate our sweet friend.
