A few months before this I got to assist the lovely @tatiparker on an Olympics commercial and got to be behind the scenes and I asked God I wanna be dancing behind the camera because lowkey the little dancaaa in me still wanted to be dancing in front of the camera. Fast forward to 2 months later and booking my first commercial 🫶🏽 what I mean by divine timing!! TRAP IS OFFICIALLY OUT IN THEATRES!!!! Words cannot describe the joy that I’m feeling in this point in time, crying because of how proud I am of myself ya girl is in a @mnight movie. I probably look crazy crying in LAX but Years of planting seeds and just seeing the fruits of my labour feels so immensely fulfilling. To my mami I wouldn’t be where I am at if it wasn’t for you, you’ve been my biggest supporter and have been there cheering me on with following my dreams through thick and thin, small stage or big you’ve been rooting for me and I don’t think I’d have all this strength or resilience if I didn’t have you as an example @mmmmarisol63 To our amazing choreographer @corakozaris thank you for being you and checking in on us and making sure we were good throughout this whole process. I’ve admired you from time and to finally be able to work with you has been such a treat. Coming off a weekend in LA for the WOD finals I’m so inspired by just movement. Dance is a universal language, we may not speak the same language but we use our bodies as a way to express ourselves, our happiness, our pain, our STORY. I saw @_melanymercedes post her class at playground and fell in love😭😭😭, you know when you watch dance and genuinely wanna cry not to mention this album has had me in a chokehold. Had to hit up my favourite ballroom and salsa girlies @whereisshushu & @adrichavezm ❤️🙏🏽 didn’t have much time but we it happen, it ain’t perfect but it felt so good

One thing I won’t let anybody take away from me is how much I love doing this 🤞🏽 to continue to wake up and push for something you love so much is one heck of a ride but I wouldn’t change it for anything. The @lvlsdance weekend in Houston was such a push and so many talented PEOPLE 😍 had to come back to Toronto and run this back with my sisturrrrrr @megcartwrightt choreography by the queen @ysabellecaps

Was reminded of this video the other day and I think it’s so beautiful how sometimes it takes us a little while to appreciate our beauty.
