CAIR-Philadelphia seeks a Staff Attorney / Civil Rights Attorney with civil litigation experience to develop and litigate cases addressing systemic civil rights violations affecting American Muslims and other communities.
This role will help lead impact litigation and civil rights advocacy in Pennsylvania. The attorney will work closely with the Legal Director to identify strategic cases and advance CAIR’s broader civil rights objectives.

The cost of housing, utilities and groceries for my constituents continues to go through the roof.

Right now we’re in the budget process and we’re looking down the barrel at programs that need funding. We fight tooth and nail to get cash for housing, food, healthcare and then we watch our federal leaders throw billions at a problem that they invented.

On the 78th anniversary of Palestinian expulsion from their lands, known as Nakba Remembrance Day, @jvp_philly and @cairphilly are outside Sen. Fetterman’s office—again! Fetterman is one of the biggest opposition to Palestinian freedom in Congress, and it’s time he starts listening to his constituents.
We’re here with progressive elected officials demanding that Fetterman vote to divest from war in Iran, Lebanon, and Palestine, and invest in communities across Philadelphia and Pennsylvania.
Two days ago, Fetterman cast the deciding vote against the Senate’s attempt to curb Trump’s war powers, for the seventh time. Most Pennsylvanians oppose the war on Iran. Fetterman needs to answer the phone, listen to his constituents, and start acting for justice!

We commend @repmgs , @repraskin and other members of the Judiciary Committee who called out the increasingly laughable nature of these McCarthyist hate hearings.
The real threat to our nation is not American Muslims practicing Islam. The real threat to our nation is corrupt politicians who waste our taxpayer dollars on illegal wars, shield Jeffrey Epstein’s pedophile friends from accountability, and shred the First Amendment to protect a foreign government from criticism.
