LEKSO - Short Film A first-generation Ethiopian American girl experiences death and doubt for the first time as her community mourns in a shocking, traditional way. This project is extremely special to me and I’m honored to have been a part of the loving and talented team that brought this vision through production. Contemplating themes of loss and healing through spirit led me to put more of myself into this project than I ever have as a cinematographer.
