19 year anniversary today. I don’t have the words to express the joy I have with you. We’ve been through the brightest of seasons and the darkest of nights and I wouldn’t trade any of it. Here’s to the whatever life has for us next. I’m with you.

26.2 - about a month ago were we’re talking about setting crazy goals. Sherry reminded me today that I said, “I’m scared to even say this but… run a marathon on my birthday.” If you’ve ran one before you know that 4 weeks is not enough time to train, but today I did it. No crazy crowds, hype, metals, or people cheering. Just a goal and my feet.
I wouldn’t have been able to finish if it weren’t for @all12ofus doing the last 3.5 with me. While we were running she told me something I used to tell the kids when I was coaching cross country - “No matter how hard this is, Declan would give everything to be able to do this.” Convicting!
I hope this is an encouragement to my kids… you can do more than your mind or body wants you to believe. Sometimes the hardest things make us a better version of ourselves.
