Our daughter Sable McClain Brown was born on 3/30/26 at 11:06am. She is the greatest gift and has already changed our lives in the most profound ways.
Sable was born with a congenital heart defect called d-TGA (Transposition of the Great Arteries) which required her to have open-heart surgery at 2 days old. Thanks to the magnificent doctors and nurses at @vumcchildren , she has made a miraculous recovery and is on the path to healing more every single day. She has shown more strength and resilience in her first week of her life than we can even comprehend and we are truly transformed by her birth and incredible journey so far. She is a testament to God’s goodness and will be our lifelong reminder that every single day is a gift never to be taken for granted. We are so grateful to all of the people in our lives who have carried us through this season with so much compassion and prayer, and can’t wait for Sable to feel how surrounded she is by love and light.
