@kaiserpermanente ‘s Fremont Park Bloom has officially opened to the public! 🌼✨ The Brown Construction team had the pleasure of helping make this installation possible and sponsoring the project, which was unveiled last Wednesday and is now open to the public through June 30 at Fremont Park in Midtown Sacramento. 📍 The installation features towering 6–9-foot illuminated poppy sculptures inspired by California’s state flower placed throughout the park, bringing color, light , and a unique energy to the heart of Midtown. 🧡 If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping by to check it out while it’s here!! 🌼 Be sure to follow @exploremidtownparks and @exploremidtown to stay in the know about all of the signature events and activities happening throughout the installation’s time at Fremont Park. Special thanks to @cadaapts , @exploremidtownparks , @cityofsacramento , LBT Investments and everyone involved in creating this experience for the community and supporting local creatives. 🙌

A strong turnout and thoughtful conversation at the 2026 World of Modular Annual Convention & Tradeshow👏 We were proud to join Guerdon, AO, and Brown Construction for a panel about our first-of-its-kind collaboration in Northern California—bringing together partners across the development, design, manufacturing, and construction process to showcase new ways of delivering affordable housing at scale. Thank you to everyone who joined the session, asked questions, and engaged with the ideas we’re collectively working to advance. Conversations like these are an important step toward building more efficient, high-quality, and scalable housing solutions. Looking forward to continuing the work—together. @modularbuildinginstitute #WorldOfModular #AffordableHousing #ModularConstruction #HousingInnovation #OffsiteConstruction #ModularBuildingInstitute

🚨 Project Update | The Joule Big things are happening at The Joule in Midtown Sacramento and we are proud to announce that the slab on grade concrete pour has been completed, and even better, we came in ahead of schedule and beat the rain. 💪 🌧️ This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the team that made it happen. A huge shoutout to @bciconcrete for knocking the pour out of the park, and to every subcontractor and team member who put in the work to get us here. You all know who you are and we appreciate every single one of you. 👏 On to the next milestone. More updates to come! 🚧 . . Developer: StoneBridge Properties, LLC Architect: @lpas.design

🚧 Notice to Proceed has been granted. Fairview Terrace is officially under construction! This marks more than a project milestone. Fairview Terrace is part of a first-of-its-kind pipeline of factory-built affordable housing communities across Northern California. As the first of more than five communities representing 560+ affordable units, it reflects a new model for delivering housing faster, more efficiently, and at scale. Across the full pipeline, we are also working toward Zero Net Energy goals, building housing that is both affordable and sustainable for the long term. 🌱 Here’s what’s taking shape in Stockton 📍🏗️: Fairview Terrace will provide 76 affordable senior housing units within a 62,000 SF, four-story mixed-use community. Built using factory-built modular construction, the development is designed to support connection, comfort, and accessibility and will feature a central courtyard, community kitchen, gathering areas, full-height art murals, and on-site property management services. Sustainability is a key focus, with the project including an all-electric design, on-site energy systems, and rooftop and carport solar installations. We are proud to be part of a team advancing new solutions to the affordable housing crisis. Together with @mutualhousingca , @guerdonmodular , @architecturalnexus , @calenergy , and STAND (our nonprofit community partner), this effort shows what’s possible when the right team comes together, investing in long-term community stability and opportunity while delivering projects that reflect the priorities, needs, and vision of the communities they serve. 🤝 This is just the beginning of a broader pipeline of factory-built housing communities across the region, and we look forward to what’s ahead! Stay tuned for more updates! 🏘️🌱

It’s time for another project update! 🏗️ A big congratulations to our 2300 Ellsworth team, who completed their level 3 podium deck concrete pour just last week, three days ahead of schedule ⏱️👏. This marks the third consecutive milestone they’ve delivered early, a huge accomplishment!! 🙌😤 This kind of progress doesn’t happen without strong teamwork, dedication, and pride from both our crew and all subcontractors involved. 🤝 Let’s keep the momentum going. We’re excited to see what’s next. Be sure to show the team some love in the comments for a job well done 👏 . . Developer: @arthaus.partners Architect: @ldp_architecture_sf

Golden shovels and hard hats… you know what that means 👷🏗️🪏 Last Friday, we celebrated the groundbreaking of Avalon Commons Phase II in Fresno, CA. This next phase will add five two-story buildings and 45 units, bringing the community to a total of 105 affordable housing units with Phase I. 🏘️ The expansion also includes two attached laundry facilities, a standalone laundry room, a second dog park, and a new playground. Having built Phase I, it is great to be back for the next chapter of this community. We look forward to seeing it come to life. 🎉 . . Developer: @fresnohousing Architect: R.L. Davidson

Big milestone for student housing at Sac State! 🏡   We celebrated the beam signing of Mt. Whitney Hall marking major progress on a new residence hall designed to support student success.   Opening Fall 2026, this five-story space will house 335 students and expand affordable housing on campus, with modern amenities, study spaces, and sustainable features built in.   Inspired by the highest peak in the contiguous U.S., Mt. Whitney Hall represents what it means to aim high.

Can we get a Stingers Up?! 🐝 Today was a special day for our Mt. Whitney Hall at Sacramento State project, as we celebrated a major milestone with the signing of the final structural beam. The morning brought together so many of the people who have helped bring this project to life, including project partners, state legislators, city council members, community members, and students, all coming together to celebrate this moment. 🎉 Reaching this point reflects the dedication, collaboration, and care that every team has poured into this project. It was a day to celebrate not just the progress, but the people behind it and who this is for. Mt. Whitney Hall will provide affordable housing for 335 students and create a place where they can feel supported, connected, and truly at home. As Darrin Henry, Vice President of Construction Operations, shared, Mt. Whitney represents that gateway. This is what it all comes down to, as Dr. J. Luke Wood, President of Sacramento State, said, “Mt. Whitney Hall will be a point of pride across our campus, region, and the Cal State system, serving students with the support and stability they need to succeed. We know that when a student lives on campus, they are more likely to graduate from this institution and to graduate on time. And that’s important. As time passes, the doors of Mt. Whitney will become a home.” 🏠🙌 Drop your @sacstate pride in the comments and shout out your graduating class! 🐝💚💛
