Madame Elsie Fluff is exhausted.
Not only is one human missing (he is away for about 36hrs) so she has to keep checking the house kn case he has snuck back in but the other one has been most disruptive.
Bronagh-human has moved furniture and banned Madame E from a room due to something called paint which has required many attempts at supervision. Plus she has moved things and added things in the garden. So multiple extra tours on inspection must be performed.
Plus there has been a disappointing lack of lions on the tv.
My take on the scarf sweater trend.
This is a sweater style with a scarf built in. This pattern offers you the option to create the striped sweater and the scarflette together as one piece or make both or either separately.
The scarf and the v-neck have icord edges. They are knitted in @jarbontextiles Devonia 4ply, so a lighter spring sweater style. Have fun choosing the colours for your version.

This week I have a new sweater design on the needles and I am using Fallow a recycled, waste reducing, 100% wool yarn from @garthenor
It is a sport weight with a lovely springy feel in a natural shade. I'm enjoying myself and whizzing through various texture patterns.

I have been having a great experience as editor of @favershamfirework a new quarterly magazine from @brightsidepublishing
It is a hyperlocal magazine featuring arts, food, interiors, gardens, community stories and more from the Faversham area. All in a beautiful format with great photography.
We launched issue one last night, now it is time to think about the summer for the next one in July.

The Rib Wrap Socks have bands of rib that sweep round your ankles from the back of the foot to running down the top of the foot. Snug and comfy, they are a straightforward knit that is fun in a bright colour.
I used one of the fantastic neon shades from the @kingcoleltd Tiptoe sock range. Thinking of making myself another pair in the neon pink option.

Creating the Wavelength Sweater definitely brought me joy. Coming up with this stripe pattern was a lot of fun and I love the bold colours of Origin from @ayarnstory - there's a great range of colours so you can find the right pairing to boost your mood.

Had a wonderful Monoprinting session last night at my evening printmaking class at @ekc_canterburycollege ✨
All participants made beautiful work exploring subtractive and additive methods, adding texture, contact printing with botanicals, using stencils, mixing colours and creating multi - layered prints.
I didn’t get a photo of everyone’s work but here are some examples. The graphic botanical Monoprint series were made by @bronaghknits and the painterly landscape scene was by Sam.
