This podcast has been a long time coming and I’m so excited to share these stories with you.
This introduction episode shares my personal ethos, sets intentions of what this show will look like, and thoughts on why this new chapter is a part of an expansion of my being an artist.
Every good story begins with a fire and in this journey, that holds true too.

Anyone watch the tv show The Studio where Seth Rogen’s character ruins the golden hour final scene of a movie? I had such anxiety I had to take a walk and took months before watching the rest of the season. Anyway, this project with designer @tinaramchandani and GC @m.daddio.inc was a study in timing. The frantic mad dash after waiting for the sun to move to just the right spot. And for the portraits, Tina and co plus my team had to start day 2 at 7am because all those glorious windows! (Well Tina was in glam at 5:30am!)
AND worth it. Look at the glorious color. Such a treat to photograph this beauty and to work with stylist @martinrbourne , who, as always, brought his magic.
One of my very favorite projects I’ve photographed for @manciniburns . The homeowners are art collectors and my challenge was knowing when to stop because I kept finding so many lovely moments. Always a delight to collaborate with Bella, Taryn, and stylist @juliastevens_ . We don’t always get a full women team, my assistant too, and what a lovely time was had.
A few favorite moments from our client’s home in NoMad with city wide views✨
Through our lens of Soulful Minimalism®, every space was approached with intention—layered, warm, and quietly detailed, without ever trying too hard. The goal was simple: elevate the experience, and let the view do what it does best—steal the show.

Our West Village Townhouse project was designed to feel bright, welcoming, and ready for our client’s next chapter. This historic home was thoughtfully reimagined for easy, everyday living. The kitchen counts with a refined touch and elegance. Outside, a carefully landscaped garden offering a rare sense of calm in the middle of the city.

We are delighted to present a newly completed project for art collectors in Tribeca. The interiors were conceived as an energetic backdrop for their expansive (and impressive) collection. Rich in color, texture, and personality, the apartment celebrates the clients’ bold sensibility and the vibrancy of the artwork itself. Link in Bio for the full project!

So excited to finally share more from our NoMad project—both the behind-the-scenes moments and the finished spaces. Working with these clients was an absolute joy, which always makes the process that much more meaningful. The design leans into vibrancy and individuality, layering color, texture, and a touch of playfulness throughout, while subtly nodding to the clients’ heritage in a way that feels personal and quietly intentional.
I’ve been thinking about Marsha P. Johnson. She would rent hotel rooms and with her friends, and fellow activists, would “collective dream” about the world they envisioned. Liberation movements of the past inform our present. The way forward is there, through those who have come before.
Check out the fabulous book, entitled Marsha, by @tourmaliiine to learn more.
I saw this exquisite illustration by @loveiswiseillu and I hope it will enter your heart as it did mine.
First editorial of 2026 and hot damn what an opener for @nytimes . I knew the story was coming out today, written by @authordinacheney , and I clicked the link and there we are! Design by @noznozawa with photography by me, and styling by @misterleedesigns .
At a time when assimilation into sameness is being forced upon us, by and large, it is my honor to celebrate and to capture in images, creativity, color, and originality. Dare to dream for a more beautiful world. And yes, the homeowner is an Aquarius. 🌈
