The new visual identity for
@curbburger proves how nostalgia and minimalism can redefine modern fast-casual packaging design.
This comprehensive identity overhaul, developed in collaboration with
@imcollective.pt , moves away from standard burger branding to establish a highly deliberate aesthetic. Every touchpoint, from the refined logo typography to the custom to-go bags, burger boxes, and greaseproof papers, follows a cohesive structural logic.
The studio approach bridges the gap between architecture and graphic design. Ines managed the spatial considerations while Miguel executed the visual systems. This partnership yielded a functional, high-contrast packaging suite that balances practical street food utility with a premium, tactile customer experience. The design avoids common industry tropes, opting instead for clean layouts and a restrained color palette that commands attention on the counter and the street.
This system demonstrates that fast-casual branding does not need to be loud to be effective. It relies on precise execution, thoughtful material selection, and strong typographic choices to build brand equity.
What is your assessment of the typographic balance on the new boxes?
