Cobbled together a couple first aid sacks for my man @champagne_rodman so feel free to get greviously injured around this guy! It'll be no biggie! LiteSkin outer, RBC guts, and a flourish of recycled kite surfing wing. Love and light to ya.

My exploration of anti-knee bonking thin stem bags has got me interested in this thing I’m thinking of as a desk organizer for my cockpit. Exterior and interior stretch pockets, drain hole, cable pass through, side specific zipper to maximize the amount of functional opening and plastic reinforcement in the back panel that seems to make the mandatory one-handed opening/closing a possibility. I just grabbed some random small leftovers for this, but I think it actually looks pretty rad. I’ll goof around with this over the winter and see how it goes. May all your knees be bonk free. #myog #bikepacking #bonkfreeliving

Is there room for CouchCore™️ in your heart? Part X11 cotton duck (served 2 ways) part @scrapexchange remnant bin. All lined up with Challenge RBC. Have a good one!

“It’s like, how much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black.” Simple, but probably one of my favorite things I've ever made. Mostly ecopak, but the bottom panel (that might drag on rocks or get buzzed by a tire) is ballistic nylon. And I'm starting to prefer this #5 molded tooth zip over the aquaguard I was using for everything, but that might just be a developing understanding of wear and tear on the type of stuff I'm making. As always, horses for courses. Have a good one!

There's really no replacement for real world testing. This small hip pack I made for a buddy gets used (not abused) every. single. day. ALL DAY. What was black X11 cotton duck is now, well, it ain't that. And you can see the #5 YKK aquaguard for the main zip has given up, too. This bag and a couple other items I've made for myself have really had me thinking about materials and their pros/cons, use cases, and what is actually the best stuff for most people. When I started making stuff I was very interested in the high-tech materials (and I still am, they look sick) but more and more I find myself feeling like maybe Jansport nailed it. There's a lot to think about here and this is a part of the gear making voyage that I really like, there's some energy in broadening your mind. #myog

Jared’s Omnium is tasteful, sophisticated, and deeply swagged out, so I was honored to make a LPB (large parallelogram bag) for it. X11 outer that I think wears in super cool with some inside out X11 strap reinforcement. Paskal PU coated #8 zip (thank you @mozet_supplies ) with a True Timber MC2 zipper garage, the last of the material I scored at the @scrapexchange . I’ve made increasingly large frame bags for Jared and if things continue this way we’ll be able to hang out in the next one. Have a good one! #bikepacking #myog

Whipped myself up a damn near invisible snack dawg to bring down to @midsouthgravel next week. Will I think about anything other than SS gear ratios for the next 10 days? I will not. #myog #bikepacking

If you bust a couple zippers you lose zipper privileges entirely. Repurposed Matt's burrito handlebar bag into a roll top so he can no longer commit heinous over-packing crimes. @southernwonders & @fartherbagco I'm sorry for the wholly unauthorized collab on my end, but I couldn't let that extremely cool bag die.

Replaced a zipper pull on @muchomaas_ @outer.shell framebag. Really killer opportunity to learn some things by getting to turn a bag made by pros inside out and surgerize it a bit. I definitely have some new things to consider next time.

Made one the handlebar Rectanglon™️ bags that I've made a number of, but this time I wedged 2mm foam btw the outer and lining on the back panel and lower side/bottom assembly. It gives the bag way more structure, but the question is - does that even matter? I kind of don't think I care, but from a vanity aspect it does look really nice on a bike even when it's empty, so there's that. I don't know...maybe just a removable hdp sheet in the rear panel is the move? Also, why are most bags in this class, round? Just easier to mass produce? I'm anti-round gang. Come at me. #myog #bikepacking #antiroundgang

Wow, "pain in the ass" is a big time understatement. I bumped all the way up against the limit of my know-how and my little machine. I thought this thing was going to come out deeply wonky, so I'm really pretty pleased. Huge respect to folks who make stuff like this full time. I kept this one simple. VX21 and ballistic nylon around the outside. No foam or stiffener material like I usually do to try and make assembly as simple as possible. Paskal PU coated #8 zip from @mozet_supplies . Have a good one!
