It’s exactly one year today since my last DJ gig as Boca 45 in Brooklyn NYC 🇺🇸 Honestly it’s been odd adjusting after so many years of hopping around record rubbing with my 🍩🍩s but on the whole I think that the time was right to hang my headphones up as B45. I’ll still do the odd gig thing when the time is right like the @friendlyrecords festival which we did in aid of @warchilduk under my #claudecooper alias but for the moment I’m at peace with my decision living with the fond memories of DJing for you lovely peeps around the globe 🌍 BIG ❤️ from Boogie Down Bristol x

Howdy Folks ! It’s been a while.. I hope that 2025 has been a good one so far? Time Flies doesn’t it?? It’s been over half a year since my Boca 45 DJ retirement which was an emotional rollercoaster to say the least, but I’ve been kept busy working and co running Friendly Records in Bristol UK. A couple of years back I disclosed to you here & via social media that I was behind the Claude Cooper project when we dropped “More Myriad Sounds” FT Brain Fog (Baby Bam from the Jungle Brothers @bam_jungle Since then I’ve been immersed in writing beats for this brand new 22 track LP offering entitled ‘Friendly Sounds Vol 1’ It’s the true sound of our Friendly little record shop in BS3 @friendlyrecords Part sampledelic trip, part romping beat tape, part party.
