I’m VERY EXCITED to be playing Sonic City @soniccity.be on November 7th in Kortrijk, Belgium again!! Beak> @beakbristol curated this festival back in 2013 and we had such an amazing time there, and made many friends… special times! I’m very happy and very excited that they’ve asked me back 🇧🇪❤️

TWO ANNOUNCEMENTS TODAY REGARDING MY SOLO TOUR… Firstly, I have a band!!! I’d like to introduce Andy Sutor @sutordrums on drums & synth and Joe Charsley Smith @joe_c_s on keyboards & guitar! Andy I played with on the first Anika @annika.henderson album tour way back in 2010 and Joe some of you might recognise as Beak>’s superstar roadie & lighting hero! Rehearsals are sounding great and I’m in very safe hands… Secondly, I’m really happy to announce Alec Snook @alec.snookcomedy as the support act for my shows around the UK in June! Bristol bred, Barcelona-based Alec Snook weaves a wonderful web of short tales, absurdist detours and outraged storytelling. His debut hour show, ‘Decomposing, Live’, sold out shows in the UK, Europe and during a full run at the Edinburgh Fringe, garnering acclaim from publications such as The List magazine, who described him as “Revelling in Strangeness”. Snook’s topics swing as wildly as his mental state, covering themes such as loss, colourblindness, narrowboat tragedies, royal funerals and the crushing weight of representing the bald community. Expressed as an equation, Snook is: Whimsy x Wordplay ÷ Dark Absurdity – Integrity. Today marks the first week since the release of my debut solo album ‘Fragments’. Thanks for all your kind messages about it, and thank you to everyone who have taken time to listen to it and buy it, it means a lot to a very young bass player 🙃… The pink vinyl has now all sold out at the @invadarecords shop but there’s probably a few left out in the wild if you look hard enough.
