Three original tracks of chilly, dynamic grooves for the winter dancefloors + one dubbed out stunner of a remix by the Seattle production extraordinaires Apt. E (@apt__e ), the duo of @tondiue and @blckplms for the uninitiated. The A-side features some tech-y, melodic groovers suitable for a range of energy levels, while the B-side is more of a krautrock-dub-house extravaganza ready to send the vibes into a psychedelic cyclone.

I could give a long-winded press release, but I’ll simply say that this collection of tracks is some of the best work that Miles has done — groovy, sinister, cheeky, and powerful. I still feel lucky to be able to continue collaborating on this label with him.

Thrilled to bring @eksish___ across the pond for her NYC (and USA) debut @mansions.bar . She is a rising star of the UK scene, racking up recent appearances at Gottwood Festival and Corsica Studios, and playing regularly alongside your favorite DJs: Sugar Free, Velasco, Tommy Pickles, et. al.
AND not only that, but she is my newly minted sister-in-law. Has there been a more powerful tech-house-adjacent family in recent memory? Come down and find out with us — my brother included!
MixesDB is dead 🪦 Long live MixesDB 2 🕊️
On Saturday @rajmakker alerted me to the fact that MixesDB would be shutting down at the end of June. Like many of you, I’ve long used the venerable platform for inspiration, scouring all the old DJ mixes and tracklists. Such a great source of knowledge shouldn’t disappear from the internet — so I’m
building a successor.
All the original mix + category data has been parsed and imported already, with much more to come as I have time to process all the material.
More user-oriented features to come in the future (mix submissions, etc.), but for now the focus is on the data.
