Accessory Records endorses PACBI (The Palestinian Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel) and refuses to collaborate with any institution which seeks to normalize the violence perpetuated by the Zionist entity.
More and more cultural organizations and tens of thousands of artists worldwide are endorsing PACBI’s 2004 call, which adheres to the BDS movement’s anti-racist principles and its targeting of institutions, not individuals, and of complicity, not identity.
We encourage other artists, labels, and institutions to do the same, regardless of size, as cultural boycotts have a long history of effectiveness – particularly in Apartheid South Africa. If you would like to learn more, visit the PACBI website or reach out directly at [email protected].

Next Thursday, join us for an Accessory Records takeover at @signalnyc .
We are joined by long-time friend of the label and day 1 supporter of both our music and our tote bags – @succubass .
Our opener @second._.contact is a kindred spirit of the Accessory Ethos with sets that glide through the funk, the freak, and the guitar-laden.
On closing duties, your humble residents. As always, we’re here to help!
We asked artists, what’s your favourite local record label?
New York’s T.Wan made a shoutout to Accessory Records, a legendary label run by friends from Seattle

Today we’re putting out a hefty grip of records from Accessory and their more recent sublabel Accessories to Murder: the last copy we’ve got of Murder002, five copies of Murder001, and a bunch of other releases from the past five years.
After the warm reception Murder002 received from the likes of Joe Delon, Pariah, and @fysicaltherapy — who played the “Autumn Sweater” edit at a Good Work party this past summer, making many heads turn and smiles appear and leading to a flood of track ID requests when I posted the video (swipe through to the end) — the sharks on Discogs, as they are wont to do, sent the price for the first release sky high over the past few months.
@miles_mercer and @bnblck , owners and producers of all things Accessory and all-around gentlemen of the highest order, recently found some dead-stock of Murder001 lying around. Instead of capitalizing on the online market, they wanted to have the last copies at Boom Service for $18 a pop, “for the people” 🩸
We’ll have some stock in the wire racks by the new releases and the others will be in the Club 12” New Arrivals section, first come first served !
Thanks to everyone who joined us for the Accessories to Murder release party. It was a freaky, foggy, heady affair.
Shouts to Razrbark, 0 Conduit, JZKL, and Simic for top notch tunes and @bake_some_bread for having us in their beautiful space.
We’ll see u at the next one. 🔪 🩸

MURDER001: Accessories to Murder
At the shop on Sunday afternoon we’ll be hosting a slightly belated release party for Simic - “An Introduction to Frost,” which was released on @accessoryrecords a little over a month ago.
Over the past three years Simic @bnblck and @miles_mercer have steadily put out a string of excellent releases on their label. Accessory’s inaugural 12” by label head Miles Mercer put them on the map in 2021 when the record appeared in sets by Raresh, DJ Masda, and many others that year. A year later Simic’s ‘Changing Conditions’ - their second release - made a heavy impact at the tail end of Ron Like Hell’s closing set at Sustain-Release in 2022: the propulsive beat and look-to-the-horizon feel of the title track combined with Ron’s layering of a fresh acappella on top made it perfect at that moment after the twists and turns of the last twelve hours of the festival.
Their newly-minted sublabel ‘Accessories to Murder’ shows that while they’re serious about tunes there’s still plenty of room for fun and games: what kind of total freaks would think of marrying Harry Nilsson’s ‘Jump into the Fire’ (which will eternally call to mind the infamous helicopter scene from Goodfellas) with Kraftwerk’s ‘The Robots’ in holy unity?
If you don’t already know these guys you should check out what they’ve been up to and monitor what’s on the way, you won’t be disappointed! The four playful, dubby tracks on ‘An Introduction to Frost’ have already garnered the support of JD Twitch and friends of the shop @moopiedaily and @kiernanlaveaux . Miles and Ben will be bringing the last remaining stateside copies to the shop for the in-store along with a bunch of merch from their label. We’ll see you on Sunday ✌️
