Opening the night, we’re excited to welcome back @rajmakker D.Dan and raj first met in Seattle at the University of Washington, where they spent years mixing and digging together nearly every day. As D.Dan puts it: “Raj and I would mix and dig for hours together almost every day, for four years straight. Much of my musical DNA as a DJ was developed together with him during this time, and still carries through to this very day.” raj remains one of the most underrated selectors on the West Coast. His six-hour set on the Nowadays patio (available on his soundcloud) is proof. He also just released new music, now available on Bandcamp at raj-skimcoat.bandcamp.com. If you’re a ticket holder, expect an email with event details by 6 PM. The event is sold out, but the waitlist is still open via the secondnature website.

We are excited to welcome the secondnature crew to Process for a collaborative evening of mind-expanding techno and visual art. Lets show our Seattle techno family how we like to get down. secondnature is a Seattle based music collective focused on bringing expansive, eclectic, techno-tinged music and impeccably produced events to the Pacific Northwest. For over a decade, secondnature have created dance floors with world class sound, and immersive venue installations that center around community. Featuring artists such as Fred P, Erika, BMG, Courtesy, DJ Voices, Dorisburg, Takaaki Itoh, Sleeparchive, Aurora Halal, Ital, DJ Qu, Mala Junta and many more. Their residents include Eddie Lee, Nick Caroll, Seelene (fka Aos), Simic, 8Cirtcuit (fka Archivist), and Sharlese. Together, their sounds range from deep dubs, to trippy loops, to wavy synths, and bouncing house. Each resident brings their own unique voice to the group, but their artistic throughline is a deep love for underground American dance music and a DJing sensibility that shows their many years of experience as organizers - the music is the fuel for the party, but the party is so much more than the music. They maintain a long term working relationship with Gia Valente, whose installations immerse you in a world of playful psychedelia.

We welcome local hero, DJ de cuisine of the lodge, and flattest man in town PHLATT PHILL to cook up some tracks for us this Friday night! 🔥🔊🎶 @philkampf is involved in organizing some of Seattle's most beloved events. He's also known for his psychedelic, trance and krautrock tinged sets that are sure to keep you eating it up all night long. For those who have wondered, this is the photo that sent US41 into the ether where Phlatt Phill emerged Phlatter than Phlatt. Get your tickets before it's too late ❤️‍🔥

Known for her chugging, experimental, psychedelic, and longform sets - @lena_willikens is bound to keep you on your toes. When she is behind the decks, even her biggest fans often have no idea exactly what she’s playing, and that’s part of the magic. Like all DJs, Willikens of course has a passion for records and is always on the hunt for elusive bits of music, but as an artist, her work doesn’t hinge on any one track, or even a handful of tracks. She’s after something bigger. Born and raised in Germany, Willikens first honed her unique approach during a long residency at Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs, a much-loved nightspot that has proven to be a hotbed of free-thinking DJ talent. Willikens isn’t the kind of artist who adheres to straight lines. Expect different temperatures, different moods and a dollop of chaos, just to keep things interesting. Circuitous paths take precedence over direct routes, and although not even Willikens herself always knows the final destination, when she’s at the helm, the journey is bound to be thrilling. Last few days to get your tickets! We expect to sell out this week so don't be shy! Can't wait to dance with you this weekend. 🔊🔊🔊 link in bio

Well, we are officially ✨SOLD OUT✨ but here’s a little bio about everyone’s fav, @plaslaiko ! Derek Plaslaiko is a beloved DJ with an eclectic style and many tricks up his sleeve. Some will know Derek as a favorite of the mid-90s Detroit warehouse scene, which lead to a personal invite from Carl Craig to appear at the inaugural Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2000. Others recognize him from his near decade-long residency at The Bunker New York parties, during which time he was named “Best Techno Party DJ” by the Village Voice in 2006. But wherever you know Derek from, he is a tried and true cult favorite. Wherever one picks up Plaslaiko’s story, maybe during his days dealing discs in Detroit’s famed Record Time dance room or possibly the years spent moving serious weight at Watts and Syntax Distribution, the one constant is top-shelf musical taste, as defined by Plaslaiko’s personal heroes—names like Laurent Garnier, Daniel Bell and Zip, and colleagues including Carlos Souffront, Jason Kendig and Mike Servito—and a passion for music that over-rides the usual trappings of the modern DJ industry. This may mean to some that Plaslaiko is still unsung. But for those who know better (and there are many all over the world), praise for Derek has been sung for decades.

Coming up ✨THIS WEEKEND✨ we are thrilled to also have BMG on the bill! Brendan M Gillen is the founder of cult label @ithqdetroit , central figure in Ectomorph, and legendary DJ and live act under his moniker BMG. His 25 year musical vision and near encyclopedic musical knowledge have led him to be one of the key figures and visionaries in contemporary dance music. His parties (most famously but not limited to No Way Back and Return to the Source) are one of the greatest contemporary manifestations of the Detroit party continuum that reaches back to the parties that formed Detroit’s underground roots. Musically he is a master weaver of true psychedelic musical tapestry, and has a way of making the strange familiar and the familiar strange. Expect the unexpected. DON’T MISS OUT!
