Join us Sunday, May 24th in Brooklyn, NY for What We Carry, an intergenerational wellness + screening experience exploring the emotional, physical, and unseen weight we carry every day.
The afternoon will feature a screening of “What We Carry” followed by a panel discussion moderated by @mayawinston alongside a licensed therapist @hersoulsupply , @skylandish mother + serial entrepreneur, and @thekayanova founder of @grownmag as we unpack the emotional weight women carry and begin to heal through conversation, wellness, and community.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month and the celebration of mothers, we welcome everyone carrying something into this shared space to reflect, connect, and unpack together.

Happy Mother’s Day 💙
This story is for mothers, daughters, and women carrying things that are ready to be unpacked in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, brought to life through @mayawinston bags as a symbol of what we hold.
What We Carry is an intimate short film exploring the quiet inheritance between mothers and daughters, the words left unspoken, the lessons never taught, and the weight that lingers anyway.
What We Carry will be screened on May 24th, 2026 in Brooklyn, NY, alongside a wellness experience inviting women and supporters of all ages and backgrounds into a shared space for reflection, conversation, movement, and connection.
This experience is for mothers, daughters, those carrying something heavy, those grieving someone, and those learning to let go. It offers a reflection on the visible and invisible things we hold, and asks what is ours to keep, and what we can finally release.

Last month, I wrote, directed, and produced a short film about women across generations and different backgrounds each navigating different challenges, yet choosing to keep moving forward. I didn’t know how much I would need the message a month later.
Recently, things have been heavy.
I’m releasing this piece for anyone going through something right now, you’re not alone.
It may not get easier right away, but you keep moving forward.
And eventually, it feels lighter to carry.
The City Doesn’t wait …
