American Bach’s 37th Season begins with “A Grand Tour,” a journey through the splendor of Baroque Europe, October 24 to 27.
From Handel’s graceful ode for Queen Anne, to Bach’s enrapturing Orchestral Suite No. 1 in C Major, to the music sung by Vivaldi’s students at the Ospedale della Pietà, each stop reveals a world of beauty and invention.
The tour culminates in Rome with Handel’s most famous (and difficult!) orchestral and choral works of the Baroque era, the breathtaking Dixit Dominus!
We invite you to begin the season with us, as we celebrate the music of Handel, Bach, and Vivaldi.
