Different trades. One shared standard.
What you don’t always see– the teamwork, communication and pride that goes into every stage of the build.
This is how great homes get built.

Details matter.
This chalet addition designed by @vfarchitect is quiet and refined– so the execution had to be exact. - European oak flooring continues on the ceiling, keeping the material language consistent - Millwork and bench seating match the flooring, reinforcing that continuity - a slim reveal separates the stair wall from the oak banister - stair lighting is fully recessed, so the light feels integrated and not applied - ceiling overhangs are designed with indirect lighting - reveals are used to conceal blinds

Shoulder season sucks.
Built for active homeowners who’d rather keep moving than wait for the weather to cooperate.

Some connections go back a long way.
John and Blake grew up together, and skiing was always a big part of their lives. It created opportunities, friendships, and experiences that helped shape where they are today.
This week, Blake and Marina from Blake Farrow Project Management joined us on the hill to sponsor a Second Tracks session and ski alongside our participants.
As Blake shared, he’s not sure where he would be without skiing. Supporting programs like this helps create those same opportunities for the next generation — giving kids the chance to get outside, meet new people, and discover a sport that can stay with them for life.
Thank you to Blake Farrow Project Management for being part of the Second Tracks community.
If you’d like to get involved or learn more about how you can make a difference through this program, visit our website through the link in our bio.
The strength of every foundation comes from skill and passion. We work alongside exceptional women– PMs, architects, designers, engineers and trades– who are leaders in the industry.
Recognizing their impact this International Women’s Day.

Then and Now. The fireplace proportions in this chalet match those of the family chalet that once stood here. Reimagined in board-formed concrete, it carries the memory of the original chalet forward in a way you can feel the moment you walk in.
Some details aren’t just design choices– they’re a way of preserving history and legacy.

The things we keep.
When we renovate we like to keep the original charm while making the home work for today.
* Exposed steel beam to celebrate old and connect new
* Restored leaded windows
* Hand-hewn log walls
* Stained glass windows repurposed as a backlit cabinet feature in the mudroom
* Timber beams sandblasted back to their natural character
* A farmhouse door repurposed as a custom pantry pocket door
Great projects start by deciding what’s worth keeping.
