Join us at ICFF in New York City. A moment to stand with the material, to see it in its true depth, and to feel the wood as it was intended.
We bring our Heritage Collection: boards of old-growth Douglas Fir and European Oak, slowly harvested, patiently milled, and hand finished at a scale that gives justice to these giants of the forest.
Rooted in the trees of Westlake Hills, this home feels deeply attuned to its landscape. The floors, crafted from sustainably harvested European wood, don’t just warm the space, they ground its rhythm and flow. Their grain moves organically through each room, echoing the trees outside and drawing the surrounding elements inward. Every knot and tone invites a closer connection to the land, quietly bridging the natural world and the built one with intention and ease.

Set quietly at the water’s edge, extending outward through a glass cantilever that hovers above the lake. The relationship between inside and out is softened, allowing water and reflection to become part of the structure. Materials are drawn directly from the tones and textures of the site, grounding the space in its setting.
Underfoot, wide plank European oak floors act as a stage, carrying the grain and natural variation of the forest into the interior. As the lake shifts through the day, light moves across the wood, softening the space and strengthening the connection between material and place. Designed by @hariripontariniarchitects , Idyll Rock is a calm composition of structure, surface, and the serene presence of the Muskoka landscape.

Designed for daily gathering and long conversations, a space that carries the memory of shared meals and moments. The flooring crafted to age gracefully, it gains character over time, becoming an integral part of the life that unfolds above it.

The forest underfoot. Raw in tone and texture, with subtle variations perceptible in every step. Crafted with a deep respect for this authentic material and its origin, this floor is a continuation of the forest it came from, now carried seamlessly into spaces we live in every day.
A story revealed in every fibre. Brushed and sawn European oak shows the true character of each unique board. Brushing removes the softer grain, creating depth and texture, while the subtle cross-sawn texture is a record of the wood’s origin as it passes from forest through the sawmill.
Both processes are carried out slowly and intentionally, revealing the material in its most natural form. Rooted in a deep respect for the natural world.
The hallway is never just a hallway. It’s the pause between moments, the breath before the room. Arched plaster walls, stacked lanterns, worn oak floors — this is where old world soul meets quiet modern living. ✨ Photo credit @patrickbiller
Smoked Oak Salis is expressive and defined by frequent large knots and variation in grain and tone. It’s a floor meant to be lived on, shaped by movement, daily routines, and the gentle wear that comes with family life and pets. The material welcomes these moments, allowing life to unfold naturally across the surface.
A natural plant-based finish allows the oak to breathe, deepen, and gain character over time, developing a patina that reflects how the home is lived in. A material that continues to evolve with the space, remaining grounded and enduring alongside the architecture itself.

Centuries of craftsmanship, in one floor. Our bespoke European oak block and batten draws from a tradition once reserved for palace interiors, reborn here through contemporary hands. An honour to bring to life its pattern, texture, and heritage, where every piece is handcrafted and placed with intention.

Bringing warmth and natural character to the space, Cameo sets the foundation for this home. Its soft, pale tone carries subtle variation from plank to plank, with gentle grain movement and a smooth, buttery finish that lends an understated elegance to the interior.
Longevity is integral when choosing materials for a home. Crafted from oil-finished European oak, the floors are made to age naturally, developing a patina through daily life and use. Each step becomes part of the surface itself, adding richness and character over time.

Drawn from historic methods of colouring and finishing wood using minerals, bark, plant dyes, and oils. Layered slowly with intention, building depth that lives within the grain rather than simply sitting on the surface. Five new variants continue this tradition. Grounded, layered, and designed to age with authenticity.
A reminder that sometimes the floor doesn’t need to be the star to allow the architecture to take the lead. Here, it takes a back seat, acting as a supporting element within the space. The light-toned European oak stairs rise through a rich field of colour, where warm terracotta tones and a bronze handrail come together in a celebration of colour.
