Honored to be part of this year’s @filmindependent Project Involve Program as a Directing Fellow! It’s a program I’ve looked up to and followed for years and I’m so excited to finally be part of it with an amazing cohort of old friends and soon to be new ones. I can’t wait to see what we create. For this to be the first major fellowship program I’ve been accepted to and finally as a director! is a dream come true. Let’s make a movie! Also thank you @laurentakespix for the cunty headshot. 🤭😝💃🏻Our short film "Border Hopper" is set to have its world premiere as an official selection of Sundance 2024! I met the wonderful Nico Casavecchia at @sundanceorg last year and he’s basically become my big brother. I’m so honored, excited, and lucky to be part of this film with these beautiful filmmakers making weird Latine genre films. There were 12,000 shorts submitted this year and 53 were chosen which is mind blowing!!! Catch us brown people at a screening or on the dance floor in Park City! Keeping my roll of posting 9 months late to everything - here’s some non spoiler BTS from shooting The Red Mask back in October. Super thankful to @therealatit for bringing me on as co-producer to help make this crazy meta queer horror movie. Queerness and BIPOC people in horror is super close to me heart and it was such a joy to help get this made through crazy long overnights. I definitely was pushed as a producer and learned so much. We’ll be premiering @frightfestuk August 23rd. Directed by the fab @riteshfilms

It’s the end of the year and I haven’t been able to post about one of the most amazing projects I got to work on this year, Speak Less directed by the wonderful @iamkelleykali It was my first time producing/line producing a feature this size and boy did it almost kill me but boy did I have such a great time with such an amazing diverse crew who had my back along the way through every set back. I can’t wait to bring this spooky badass lady filled story to the screen. Here are some BTS/highlights. Also it was Samwise’s first credit as Producer of Joy and he was damn good at it.
