Broke my 2 year hike hiatus this weekend. Finally tried out Nick’s favorite hike. Realised I do in fact have a (manageable) fear of heights. Enjoyed some killer Italian sandos. My thighs are feeling it today but it’s nice to get the body moving again, even if a good portion of it was me crawling on all fours.
It’s these two Henry-loving ladies birthdays! Satiene gets an extra special shout-out bc it’s her 21-fun! Love you both so so much and can’t wait to celebrate with you both in person. I feel like we’ve somehow grown even closer this past year which has been really nice. You’re both so special and have the world ahead of you. Can’t wait to see how you will grow this coming year. Well, it’s official! Everyone meet Henry Fig. Nick and I really thought we were going to end up with a dog first but here we are. I was working an overnight set in Lancaster, CA, when I found a kitten. With it being 4 in the morning, I kept sending Nick videos of the cat because I needed someone to talk to, even if it was sleeping Nick. Eventually I sent him this video of the cat in my car and Nick woke up to a kitten next to him when I wasn’t even supposed to be home for another few days. He’s super cuddly and loves people (not into dogs yet but that’s a work in progress). Peep the final video to see him doing a full Puss in Boots stand. #comemeetme
