RELEASE DAY!
They are leaving me; the Tiny Little Light fledglings are leaving their nest and making their way to you. Yes, my new album is finally out and it’s been quite the journey. From Reverie Road which knocked my recording confidence a little after its poorly fated release right before the 2020 pandemic this killing a lot of its touring potential. Then 2021 Northwestern English Fiddle, an independent, DIY release that earned my eccentricities some acceptance in the English folk world… and now, a fully fledged Tiny Little Light - me being me; a slice of my world on a disc. Something for the folkies, something for the fiddlers; something for the punks, something for the weirdos. This has been 3 years in the making. The first attempt was scrapped and the recording for this version was actually completed around this time last year. I’ve been fermenting it in a conifer at the bottom of the garden.
The summer is fading. There is morning chill in our garden and the hint of frost on the grass blades if you rise early enough to see it. But let this Tiny Little Light keep your toesies warm this winter.
