There are many things that can go wrong when trying to make your own wedding signs.
The main culprits being the wrong materials (size, depth, finish), the wrong pens (non durable, not opaque, bad quality), lack of knowledge (how to transfer designs onto the board, how to print large scale), lack of time (you don’t have hours and hours to keep getting it wrong), money (your goal is to save money and you keep buying the wrong materials so you end up spending more).
I’ve made master classes that prevent all of the above. When you become a part of Signage School, you’ll learn:
- how to transfer your designs perfectly onto the canvas/wood/acrylic
- how to print your designs large scale perfectly (using an A4 printer!)
- what size canvas / wood / acrylic you need
- what thickness material you need
- what paints to use
- what pens to use
- how to prep your materials properly
- where to find beautiful fonts
- you’ll have links to all my suppliers and where to buy everything you need
- every video is time stamped for ease of use
- you’ll have lifetime access
I’ve made 4 tutorials, you can choose which one to suit you best, canvas wedding signs, painted wooden wedding signs, stained wooden wedding signs and acrylic wedding signs.
You’ll have everything you need to make wedding signs that you LOVE ❤️

I never thought I’d get to where I am now when I first started. I vividly remember comparing myself to every single other calligrapher / stationer / creative. Wondering why I wasn’t as good, as cool, as booked up, as fast.
But I remember reading a quote and it was something along the lines of “don’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle”. And it’s so true, if you are in the first few months or years of your creative business, you can’t be comparing yourself to someone 7 years in. And I have no business comparing myself to someone 10+ years in.
Running a business is a continuous learning curve, the mistakes need welcoming, they are how you grow.
So if you are in the early stages of yours, keep going, keep learning, try new things, adapt and change to what you need to. Most people give up, but if you love what you do, you must keep going 💜

These lime wash wedding signs are so lovely to paint, maybe I should do a mini tutorial as an add on to the canvas tutorials?! What do you think?
I made this gorgeous sign back in early 2024. I’d always loved the lime wash effect in homes and I had the idea to re create it for a styled shoot. I’d never seen lime wash or canvas signs before and since creating them, I’ve had so many beautiful orders 😍
If you want to learn how to make your own wedding signs, comment ‘tutorial’ and I’ll send you the link to my tutorials! And if you think I should add a lime wash version, let me know!
