Intertwined amongst others we are living within a constant cycle of death and rebirth
In winter, we find ourselves at the end of this perennial cycle
It holds space for going inward and releasing all that no longer serves us; ideas, beliefs and limitations-
how effortlessly nature does this
We watch leaves fall from trees without any resistance or hesitation
Retreating from external energy
and attuning to the beauty that lies within, at their roots
They make space for new growth
and teach us that to flourish we must make time to nurture ourselves
As growth is ultimately an unbecoming of everything we hold ourselves to be
Encouraging us to embrace stillness, solitude and vulnerability-
shedding layers which we have thought to protect us,
to find safety at our core.
In this empty space,
let the winter seeds be sown
In time for springs abundance
Where growth transcends from darkness to light
and we’ll feel revived to grow together again
As amongst others we can all support each others healing,
just as plants do,
interdependently
Through community
and through infinite love and compassion,
foremost for ourselves
and in turn each other

Dave and Izzy I can’t thank you enough for an incredibly grounding and healing experience, I am forever grateful. Basunti is undoubtedly special, it holds immense magic; a true reflection of the love, passion and artistry you both put into creating it.
The Himalayas are the heart of Basunti- their ever-presence exudes an incredibly empowering energy, felt and in awe of all who visit.
Nature became your pallet and wildlife became your symphony - how illuminating it was to be living amongst.
It is a true example of what can be achieved when you have a strong vision and fearlessly follow you dreams. I feel soo blessed and inspired; I feel soo honoured to have been able to call it home for 2 1/2 months- a forever home.
The timing was divine and incredibly blissful which held space for a lot of learning and self enquiry.
Being in nature brings solace and calmness- it encourages us to come back to ourselves and our beautiful authenticity.
Once we find this stillness, its teaching is abundant.
Basunti will always be a monumental part of this evolving journey and will forever hold a very special place in my heart, as will you both.

Grandad my love for you is everlasting. I can’t put into words how lucky I feel to have spent 23 years in your presence. Thank you for being the most selfless, strong-willed and genuine soul- you have taught me everything I need to know.
