My background is in the Art and Design sector, with 8 years experience working for prestigious art studios in London after obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Decorative Art.
Clare Ellen Studio began when I moved away from London. Seeking a quieter area to live, hopes of starting a family, and a new creative challenge! I've always been a lover of baking and art/design, so creating delicious and luxurious cakes was perfect!
I'm so passionate in producing refined pieces where every single detail is of importance. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my wonderful couples, and work hard to bring their dreams to fruition at a time of their lives that's so meaningful to them 🤍

I absolutely loved creating this cake for S&H
They had beautiful sculptural flowers in mind for their day so we used that idea for the design of their cake too
Decorated with handcrafted clear isomalt flowers
And they chose Vanilla Bean sponge baked with fresh raspberries layered with Pistachio Praline and Vanilla Bean Buttercream for both tiers

This was back in October at @aswarbyrectory in their beautiful gardens
With gorgeous table styling by @hiretwentyone using a large silver platter for the cake, and accompanied by silver coupes with fresh blackberries and redcurrants
The couple celebrated with a large chocolate gateux flavour inspired cake, which was decorated with many edible ribbons, plaits and pleats
Congratulations to lovely J&L who married at Aswarby Rectory on Saturday
They celebrated with a Lemon & Passionfruit two tier wedding cake and six Lemon Vegan Friendly mini cakes to match, decorated in piping, fresh fruit and edible flowers

Here are a few pics shared by the bride from their day back in October
They sent postcards to each other throughout their relationship, so it felt really special when myself and the bride designed this beautifully personal postcard as a surprise for her husband
As a little extra touch, I made the couple some sugar calla lillies to match the fresh calla lillies in her bouquet, which were pinned to the front of the cake

The details were so beautifully curated by the couple - every element synced so seamlessly
For their cake design, we gave a nod to details of their stationary design, the interior design of the venue which they loved, and I created sugar flowers to match the fresh chocolate cosmos that were part of their floral design
We also created custom Iced Shortbread detailed with the symbol on the couple's stationary
