Our new writers festival at Troupe 22 is finished and I've never felt so proud of this team. It was amazing performing alongside these super talented ladies @francesca.grace.woods @vedikaaaa @girlonsets @fenellawatkinshale in the play 30* by @victoriasviggum Our director @pkunstt and movement director @dogstar_dance_theater are absolute Goddesses!! And the producer support of @sing_out_newbie who wore many hats during this process, was incredible. It's so amazing co-producing Troupe 22 Theatre Company with @francesca.grace.woods and @_helloabbey . This company is my world and I'm always amazed by how far we grow each year. Thank you to all the actors and writers that make this company possible, your dedication and talent is mind-blowing. And finally, a big Welldone to all the brilliant actors and directors, and big shout out to our writers @brath14 @dancinthestorm @eliseceri @victoriasviggum , who worked so hard on creating these brilliant plays, for our Fragmented Mirror festival of 2025. endlings // 2025 Endlings is an emotive physical theatre piece inspired by the real-life Voyager Golden Records, that operates as a kind of mourning dance, trying to come to terms with how painful it is to love things that are dying. Operating as a series of solos, some movement, some text, each artist confronts a different Gen Z stage of grief, pushing through the coping mechanisms of post post post ironic detachment, to teenage nihilism, to manic hedonism, to escaping your life on reddit forums discussing the validity of the Stars Wars Christmas special, pushing until the failure point of the escapism, until all that is left is raw, hurting love. Endlings tries to understand together how it feels to be alive when it all feels so close to the end. This production was developed through a year-long residency at Space Clarence Mews, and has been presented at the Stoke the Embers Festival at McQueen's Theatre in the UK and JMS Aster Plaza in Hiroshima, Japan, with support from the Canada Council for the Arts, and premiered at The Golden Goose Theatre in April 2025. 📸 @_eloise_frey
