βI have perceivβd that to be with those I like is enough,
To stop in company with the rest at evening is enough,
To be surrounded by beautiful, curious, breathing, laughing flesh is enough,
To pass among them or touch any one, or rest my arm ever so lightly round his or her neck for a moment, what is this then?
I do not ask any more delight, I swim in it as in a sea.β

"Is Anybody Out There" - written and directed by @eliseceri . Performed by @pelumib37 , @ianthebathurst and the guy in the flannel.
Performed on the 12th and 15th of Nov.
Part of the Fragmented Mirror Festival ran by @troupe22.co .
To call this an appreciation post is selling it short. Im incredibly grateful for this opportunity. Especially the people apart of IAOT. For me to come onboard just a week before the commencement of the Festival, thank you @girlonsets , there were many variables to consider. But when the team is this talented and motivated, you find Gold.
Thank you so much for giving me my first Theatrical performance in London. Ive learnt a whole lot and I hope there's a lot more in-store for all of us!

Missed National Coming Out Day AND Lesbian Visibility Day here are some thoughts about life after coming out as non-binary 5 years ago:
1. I carried so much shame for so long about my gender and masculinity that the term Butch felt like trap to me. Now, when someone calls me Butch it's like a badge of honour.
2. Like many queer identities, being Butch is more than just about being masculine. It carries political, social and cultural histories with it and I am ever proud to be representing those who came before me.
2. Everything made sense once I finally realised I was non-binary. It was like the final puzzle piece that fit everything together. Quite a lot of my mental health struggles were rooted in carrying the shame I felt around performing gender.
3. We can thank Judith Butler for that revelation.
4. Everytime someone gets my pronouns right it sends a tiny little spark of joy through my heart.
5. Lesbians / Butch's that have been the soundtrack through my Butch revelation: KD Lang, Andrea Gibson, Lucy Dacus, Tracy Chapman, FIGHMASTER.
