Three projects shortlisted in the 2026 NSW Architecture Awards.
Brise Soleil (Interior Architecture), and Denj Lane and Playhouse (Residential Architecture – Houses, Alterations & Additions).
Projects with very different starting points, each responding in its own way to site, brief and context.
Looking forward to the awards night and celebrating the breadth of work recognised this year.

Four terraces in Forestville, approved and moving toward construction.
The project is one of the designs available through the NSW Housing Pattern Book, an initiative that streamlines approvals and reduces red tape, making it easier to deliver architecturally designed homes.
Designed to bring light into the home, open spaces outwards and create a stronger connection to everyday living.
Looking forward to seeing it progress on site.

We’re pleased to have two projects shortlisted in the 2026 Australian Interior Design Awards.
Playhouse and Brise Soleil, both in the Residential Design category.
Two projects shaped by working with what exists and finding new opportunities within established homes.
Great to see the work recognised alongside so many strong projects in this year’s program.

We’re pleased to share that our submission, 188 George, has won a Design Excellence Competition in Parramatta.
Located between George Street and the Parramatta River, the project proposes a tall residential building shaped by public life as much as skyline presence.
All four edges of the site are opened to the city, strengthening connections between street and river. Above, homes are designed for light, air and views of the river and Sydney city beyond, with Country and environmental performance embedded from the outset.
A considered approach to city making, public domain and tall residential living in Parramatta.

A few moments from Hinchcliff House, celebrating 21 years of Carter Williamson.
A milestone, yes. But more importantly, a room full of the people who make the work possible.
Grateful for the energy. Excited for what’s ahead.
21 years.
Last night we gathered at Hinchcliff House to mark two decades of practice, and the many people who have shaped it.
What began as a small home-based practice has grown, but the core idea hasn’t shifted: architecture begins with people, and is sustained by collaboration.
Thank you to our team, clients and friends who continue to shape the work we do.

DA APPROVED!
From pub, to restaurant, to doctors clinic, this project has had many lives.
Now, we’re adding to the story, with heritage restoration and adaptation to the front, a fun addition at the rear, and a hidden courtyard that bridges the two.
