@benantics x brooklyn choir project is the collab you didn’t know you needed ⭐️
Benét sings with a sense of ease and agility that comes, in part, from a lifetime spent singing and playing music. His mother, who is part of a family church choir as well as a Natalie Cole cover band, put him in “every choir in the world” growing up, which he secretly enjoyed despite worrying it might not be cool. She also put him in voice, piano, and guitar lessons, which he stopped doing in middle school because he preferred playing music to learning about it in academic settings.

FREE show @lincolncenter - Friday, March 6th
Have you heard Benét play live? His delivery is absolutely sweeping; he quieted a sold-out crowd back in December at Powerhouse Arts where he played "Make 'Em Laugh" from TRAИƧA the album.
Red Hot's 2024 concept album, TRAИƧA, spotlights Benét among the most daring, imaginative trans and non-binary artists working today. The Transa Rising project supports some of the community's talented young artists at the beginning of their careers.
Music starts at 7:30 Friday, March 6th; you can just show up at Lincoln Center!

Grateful to share my art and music. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for the love and support.
Here’s a lil something I wrote about the song
“Pieces of Me is about feeling misunderstood — but also realizing maybe you weren’t saying what you really meant in the first place. It’s a little messy, a little confrontational, but it’s real. I was writing from that space between holding on and letting go, where you still want to be seen even after someone’s already taken a piece of you.” ❤️
