When we got to see @amberdawngold make a beautiful speech uplifting UPLIFT and all designers on Night 2 of @skyeaglecollection ’s UPLIFT, we almost cried. We were like SHES HERE! SHES THE MOMENT! We are gonna get a little corny here! @amberdawngold The professor walked in wearing warpaint, runway and even brought her dog along! The founder of Native fashion week, art historian, multi-Emmy winner, literal professor pulled up to the UPLIFT fashion show and shook the ground. She curates couture, yes she elevates indigenous designers to global stages. But she also teaches in classrooms, in museums. on runways. To us she is raising the next generation of indigenous artists and fashion disruptors with the same fire she brings to the front row. Oh and she’s wearing Sky-Eagle 🖤 📸: @batzcave_
