Custom fashion rat for @upuntil.dawn for this weeks runway on RuPauls Drag Race All Stars 11! • So excited to bring this rat to life for Dawn. Created a custom rat textile of different knits and shredded boucle to create her fur- with a whole bodysuit underneath the coat. We then carried the patchwork into the tail of different velvets. The coat is then pieced together as well of different black textiles to create her coat and boa of multiple feathers. Excited to share some details of Dawns promo for RuPauls Drag Race All Stars 11! • So much work went into bringing dawns vision to life for her promo and to create her insane proportions. Starting with this custom patchwork leather jacket and boots of 12 different leathers. Patch-worked together on a metallic orange leather base with the orange peaking through- all laced together. With a velvet quilted corset (21.5 inch waist). The 3D tail then bolts to the back of the corset. We then used around 50 feather boas to bring her cheese puffs to life in 2 tones of ostrich and marabou feathers. All placed on top of a custom electric orange tiger print bodysuit. Fontana for the finale of RuPauls Drag Race: Uk vs the World! • So so proud of all the work that went into this piece for @fontana . Inspired by the Brazilian flag we wanted to bring an electric end to her finale with this metallic leather bodysuit. Every feather on this bodysuit is hand cut leather and then each one has been rhinestoned on top of that. Thank you so much to @reganmjackson and @kallen.ruston for staying with me till the end to get each feather rhinestoned! This moment was supposed to be pure joy, I’m living my dream on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. I am Gabriella Fontana. I am a transgender woman, an artist, a drag performer and a public voice who has been living in Sweden for the past 11 years. Since the very first day I arrived here, I have worked hard to build a life respecting Swedish laws, contributing through my work, paying my taxes and being part of society. I have learned the language, embraced the culture and found not only a home, but also the freedom to finally be myself. Sweden is not just a place I live, it is where I became who I truly am. Through my work on stage, on social media and on television, I use my voice to uplift others, to inspire and to show that it is possible to live authentically. I carry the stories of many people who do not have the same platform. People who need representation. People who need hope. Today, I am facing the possibility of deportation even though I am married to a Swedish citizen since 2018 and I have been working under a permanent work contract for the past years, all under the union’s (Handels) rules, agreements and legislation. I currently have an ongoing application for a permanent visa and an extension of my work permit, received by the Migration Office on 1st September 2025 (Case Number: 12653095). On Friday, 20th March, I received a letter requesting my payslips for the years 2020 and 2022. During this period, I held three approved work visas under the same case number. I am concerned that my past visa applications from six years ago are being reviewed in 2026 in a manner that could influence the current decision. Please note that all decisions during that period were approved and verified by my employer, the union (Handels) and the Migration Office. At present, I have submitted applications for both permanent residency and an extension of my current work permit, for which I am fully eligible based on my income and the years I have lived and contributed in Sweden. I’m beyond grateful for this moment and for each one of you who have been part of this journey. This life feels worlds away from where I came from… And yet, against all odds, here we are, a 2x finalist! Through fear and challenges that tried to break me, deportation battles, toxic relationships, navigating my truth and fighting for my place as an immigrant, I kept going. And we made it. In a world where the social and political climate feels heavy, where trans rights are being challenged and Latin communities are facing displacement and fear, visibility becomes an act of resistance. We rise, we shine and we fight back with pride, power and unapologetic joy. With unapologetic authenticity. There were moments when it felt like I was running toward my dreams with everything I had, while a massive shadow was pulling me back. But standing here at the finale, I know now, I am stronger than that fear, stronger than anxiety. And this accomplishment isn’t just mine. It’s a celebration for all of us who are fighting battles no one else can see. If you’re going through something right now, please hear me: you can do this.
