Between Christmas and New Years, south east Queenslanders were treated to an unseasonably cool weekend. With temps in the low 20’s and a strong easterly breeze, you bet we were going to take advantage.
A new line in the summit caves doesn’t happen very often and would need to be a very worthy addition to justify its existence. That’s exactly what ‘Moon Safari’ is. Standing proudly amongst some of the most classic lines up there, this route blasts up some of the steepest terrain the summit caves has to offer.
After recently opening the route, @dan.jcox invited me up to get some photos of the newest addition to SE QLD hard climbing. Here he is giving it the beans with @bbstringer on belay.

. Honestly had a epic time with a few good mates bouldering down at Stanthorpe over Easter, was my first time at the granite belt, and ooh baby I definitely need to come back!!

A few stills snapped during the Graceland set for the opening of the new @urbanclimb West End Boulder hall. Probably one of the most impressive parts of the gym, a nearly 40m long stretch of untextured wall, giving the setters room to set some ambitious problems. So awesome to see the hugely positive community response to this epic feat by the Urban build and setting team!

Was very fortunate to witness Blake’s (@bbstringer ) send of Esoteric Agenda (31) at @coolumcave yesterday in between shooting for @awesomewoodys w/ @lucyclimbing . Second burn of the day, post rain dump & after feasting on his breakfast panini - everything just came together. Sitting on a ledge probably never felt so good! 🤙
