CONGRATULATIONS to everybody that has run for charity in a marathon this year. Marathons and half marathons are immense undertakings, requiring both great physical and mental fortitude. Rainforest Concern is so grateful to those that chose to run for us, the Rainforest Runners. Thank you. Collectively our Rainforest Runners have raised nearly £8000. This is a stupendous effort. 🏅 MEDAL MONDAY 🏅 A massive weekend for Team Armadillo with racing, running, swimming and a frankly ridiculous amount of climbing… 💪 Big congratulations to Nick, Dean, Cathryn and Ffion (Second in age cat!) for taking on the Llanelli Sprint Triathlon, the first race in the Welsh Super Series! A strong start to the series and plenty more to come 👊 Special shoutout to Ffion as well for finishing FIRST in her category at the Llanelli Swim on Friday 🥇 Excellent work backing it up across the whole weekend! Meanwhile, Sean decided one trip up Pen y Fan simply wasn’t enough… completing the legendary @10yfan challenge by climbing up and down Pen y Fan TEN TIMES in under 24 hours 😳 18 hours. No sleep. Questionable sanity. Outstanding effort 💥 And Rhys absolutely flew around the @bathhalf in a blistering time, showing all the hard training is starting to pay off nicely 🔥🏃‍♂️ Huge congratulations to everyone involved this weekend, proud to see Team Armadillo out there putting in the work, supporting each other and doing brilliant things! #TeamArmadillo #bathhalf #10yfan #llanellisprinttri #triathlon

Medal Monday 🥇 Ring that PB 🔔 1:53:38 Yesterday I raced @great_run Bristol. It was a wonderful event and very well organised. The finish was great and could find loved ones easily unlike Bath 🙈. Absolutely over the moon with this time. Yesterday morning my two boys and husband all said times they thought I’d get! One of my sons said 1:53 and I was like absolutely not, considering I got 1:58 at @bathhalf only 8 weeks ago! Since Bath, I have stayed consistent with all my runs, strength training and eating right (…with some treats thrown in for good measure) and it does just prove consistency is key!! Now to try and get closer to that 1:50 mark 🫣☺️ #great_run #greatrunbristol #bristol #bristolhalfmarathon #thismumruns

Monday 4th May 2026 . . May bank holiday / Star Wars day 😅 After being out all night helping / following Jim for the NCC and his other lovely crew / support, not getting much sleep and then having an hours sleep when I got home, I didn’t think this run would happen today, but as it was such a nice day I couldn’t stay in bed and miss the lovely weather 🥰 Glad I got it done - 7.3 miles in about an hour, didn’t feel too bad, think the new shoes were helping to carry me along 😅 . . #bankholidayrun #sunnymonday #sunnyrun #justgetitdone #ivegotthis
