Design aims to speak of Manchester ft. the cityās three rivers, castlefield and adjacent viaducts, the town hall, the surrounding Peak District and millstone, purple heather, and the mass trespass of kinder scout. Banner shape and vibe is inspired by local protest banners with hand drawn lettering based on a Manchester suffragette banner, John Rylands, and stone chiselled signage across the cityās core.
