This group is a space where you can share events, resources, and ideas at the intersections of architecture, sustainability and activism. We hope that BCAG can act as a launchpad for you to broaden your awareness, and help build a network of like-minded people.
We aim to tackle climate anxiety by building solidarity, and turning it into positive climate action. It is only as a collective that we can make a climate resilient world!

BCAG is part of a larger network of students and architects called ACAN. This is a network of individuals within architecture and the built environment taking action against climate change. Their aim is to start conversations and join like minded people together for action.
Stucan is the Student Climate Action Network, which is the student branch of Acan. They are aiming to increase climate literacy in higher education. Their targets are:
Increase student agency
Unite student voices
Cultural transformation

I can't believe it's been over two years of @bath.cag ! It has been such a joy to design and co-coordinate with a bunch of lovely people, and connect with so many more who are passionate about making the changes that need to be made 🌱

BCAG (Bath Climate Action Group) are excited to launch Screen & Story, a new (online) climate action discussion initiative run in the style of a film & book club!
This week we will be watching a short documentary about an indigenous group in Thailand, working to preserve their woodlands from development and ecological degradation, followed by an open discussion about climate change, global impact and being a good ancestor 🌿

Last weekend, BCAG took a trip to @bathorganicgroup to celebrate apple day, and meet more of the local community. It was a very inspirational day, and we will be visiting them more regularly!
🧤 If you fancy getting stuck in, (helping out with the gardening and construction of the new shelter) then keep an eye out for dates and times!
