227.5kg/501lbs for a triple. Last max effort squat session before the peaking block on @juggernauttraining for @usapowerlifting Nationals in Chicago in June. Readiness was low from deadlifts last week but wanted to push this a bit. Heaviest squats in about a year. Felt like these were pretty on point. Back from deload with a max effort deadlift session for a bunch of doubles. Top set at 255kg/562lbs. Soft 2nd but I’m cool with getting the work done. Made the back offs feel easy and the pause squats after seem like nothing 😅 Thanks @juggernauttraining@juggernautai.app
Early max effort session with @juggernauttraining this week with 220kg/485lbs x 4. Since I turned 45 this year it means it’s time to get screened for colorectal cancer. So need to fast Thursday with procedure on Friday. It’s important to get screened, but literally a pain in the ass. Glad to have finished this top set with more in the tank! #bardontlie
