Last week at the
@csccaofficial conference in Fort Worth I got hands on with some of the best equipment in the strength and conditioning world and the crew at
@texaspowerbars absolutely delivered.
First and foremost they're a family owned company with long established legacy of making elite quality bars, right down to their youngest generations currently making bars for shows like this! You've gotta love it when the whole family gets involved!
Then came the Texas Fat Axle Power Bar and honestly this thing was just ridiculous in the best possible way. The 2 inch shaft completely changes the game for grip strength, shoulder stability, pressing mechanics, rows, carries, curls... everything feels harder, cleaner, and more connected. The full knurling and rotating sleeves make it feel incredibly smooth for such an aggressive training tool.
The Texas Deadlift Bar immediately stood out. The whip, the aggressive knurling, the feel of the bar loading before the plates even leave the floor... you instantly understand why this bar has been legendary since 1980. This is not some gimmicky deadlift bar. It feels refined, violent, controlled, and built for serious pulling.
What I appreciated most was that none of these products felt like overhyped fitness industry fluff. Every bar had purpose behind it. Decades of lifting culture, engineering, and real world performance baked into every detail.
The entire Fort Worth CSCCa experience was incredible. Great conversations, great people, great coaches, and a reminder that strength culture is still alive and well when you get the right people in the room together.
Huge respect to Texas Power Bars for continuing to make equipment that actually FEELS different the second you put your hands on it.
If you are serious about strength training and performance, go check them out.
Huge thanks to
@thedreamteam_kyle for introducing me to Texas Power Bars!
