Littledishes小菜一碟 is a Shanghainese food project by @_seeeat_ / @angiezhengg focused on storytelling and nostalgic flavors through design and dinner.
Chris (@clubturtle_ / @barturtle_ ) is a SF native who has split his time between this beautiful, foggy city and Shanghai! He’s been spoiled his whole life by his Amah’s cooking and has spent countless hours by her side in the kitchen. From the PBS archives of Jacques Pépin’s bouillabaisse to Amah’s committed-to-memory Ants Climbing a Tree recipe, they’ve covered the world many times over with their cozy, homey cooking. Bar Turtle replicates the warm embrace and hospitality of Amah’s kitchen.

He’s been spoiled his whole life by his Amah’s (Taiwanese for grandma) cooking and has spent countless hours by her side in the kitchen.
