One month later - didn’t realize that this was my 5th Tales. This was my busiest one yet, where I spent most of it behind the scenes. Per usual, I took no pictures. I was excited to work close with @speed_rack this year - coaching team Diplomatico through the madness and reminded again how solid the #backtherack community is. The entire team is killer and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings every one of them. Also had the privilege of slinging drinks for Jefferson’s Rye at their Ryes & Shine brunch. Hopefully getting into a bigger post about the drinks won’t take me another month. Thank you to the brands who brought me in, the friends and bar family who welcomed me, and @liquidproductions for keeping me around another year. I always love working alongside folks - I think it’s where real relationships are built. Can’t wait to do it all again next year. ♥️

I keep looking for the right words and can’t find them. It’s been a hell of a ride. I’ve learned so much from @alchemistkate and @montana.blaze - this bar has shaped who I am and also, perhaps more importantly, who I will become. Behind the bar and just out in the world. I’ll carry everything I learned here with me, always. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for every single opportunity you’ve given me. My ride or die, @malapropter , the happy snacksident who kept me sane through the daily tribulations of management. I am forever your biggest fan. Every member of the staff, every person through the doors, you’ve all made this an incredible chapter of my life. I’m gonna miss it here. There is no place like it in the world. Truly a bar like no other. It’s so crazy to say this- but I’m leaving. After a decade spent making work my whole world I finally feel ready to get to know myself outside of work. I’m on my way to Denver to do just that. Not quite sure where I’ll land once the dust settles and honestly?!?!? I’m cool with that. Love you all. See you on the flip side.
