For two years and some change now, we’ve been joined at the hip, sharing a single brain cell between the two of us. You’re the yolk of my egg, the eye of my storm. You kick ass and I’ll miss you, but bigger things await.
Denver, you’re getting one hell of a bartender and an even better friend. Look, I know she’s intimidatingly perfect at first, but she’s a genuine sweetheart free from guile and malice. Do what I had to do to win her over: take her to the rattiest dive bar in town, get her a high life and a barely-mid-shelf whiskey, and don’t let her leave until you’re friends.
