@opensea Presents:
"Simulated Horizons" by
@bagdelete ✨
Landscapes have always been one of our oldest fictions, painted, photographed, rendered, remembered. On January 13, that tradition shifts again with "Simulated Horizons."

noper’s practice often holds a balance between emotion and technology, chaos and tenderness, with a kind of childhood wonder underneath. His work also crosses into music through collaborations with Raye, Future, and Metro Boomin, and visuals connected to moments like No Doubt’s surprise Coachella performance. His AI video work has also been featured through Fellowship’s Daily project since the very beginning.
In his latest collection, noper has built scenes that don’t belong to one place, but still feel oddly familiar. You move through plains, forests, wetlands, cliffs, open sky, fragments of terrain that could be anywhere, arranged with careful attention to atmosphere, scale, and detail.
You can feel the long history behind the genre sitting inside these images. Classic painting, early-2000s digital imagery, and modern machine learning all hover in the background, not as direct references, but as inspiration.
The result is familiar at first glance, then slightly disorienting in the best way: these landscapes weren’t witnessed. They were assembled. And because they’re GIFs, they don’t just “show” a place, they return to it. The loop makes each scene feel lived-in, like the image is breathing: light shifting, surfaces settling, a mood repeating until it starts to feel like memory.
